The Huanghai Plutus is coming with standard items such as the power windows, rear parking sensors, electric side windows, MP3/CD player, driver’s airbag, ABS, EBD and fog lamps. The unit is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The double-cab Plutus is coming in both two- and all-wheel drive and it’s powered by a 2,771cc diesel made by Isuzu, producing 100 HP and 230 Nm of torque at 2,200 rpm. Prices for the 2WD Plutus start at RM61,923.60 while the AWD version is available from RM70,923.60.

The Huanghai Plutus pickup truck has been launched in Malaysia recently where the model can be bought from RM61,923.60. The Huanghai brand is owned by Liaoning Shuguang Automotive Group, based in the Liaoning Provicen, in the northeast Dandong city. The Plutus has been imported into Malaysia recently by China Auto Manufacturers (CAM), which is a member of the Sendok Group from Klang, and the model is now available to its future customers in its newest market starting at almost RM62,000. The Plutus is actually looking like the previous generation of the Chevrolet Colorado, but that’s about all it has in common with the North American vehicle.
